My name is Kathy Flaherty. I live in Montgomery, Minnesota with my husband, 6 cats and a raucus parrot named Benjamin. I have enjoyed observing information on the internet for many years now and really appreciate people who are so willing to share their knowledge and experiences.
I just thought it was time to try to give back, share what I learn from others, add my 2 cents along the way.
We moved to Montgomery 4 years ago on 9 acres with a dilapidated barn and a dilapidated little house but we love it. Every day is like being up at the cabin. My husband is a technology geek with a good sense of humor. I love to garden, learn about plants, cook and paint.
We are trying our hand at growing food and herbs organically. We’re also interested in getting “off the grid”, living sustainably and becoming more self reliant.
